I make super-smart strategies for brands who just want to be loved.

With more than ten years of experience managing clients and their agency teams, I  turn business problems into creative strategy, for all kinds of brands.

I do independent naming and creative strategy, and lead larger verbal identity projects as a partner in Doublebit Narrative. I spent seven years as a director of verbal identity at Interbrand, where I led the naming practice and developed a program around training and development for people who are in charge of creative stuff on behalf of a brand. Before Interbrand, I worked at Ologie, focusing on clients across retail, education, and non-profit. Prior to Ologie, I put in time at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, naming products (including hundreds of candle scents, from which my nose is still recovering) and writing brand communications.

I live Brooklyn, where I sharpen axes, lift really heavy things, and tell jokes to myself on Twitter. I also co-host The Brand Hole, which is a podcast about brands and business that uses really naughty words.
